Our Giveaway Party Ended with Sara Mueller Being the Lucky Winner of The Living Room of Your Dreams Prize Package

Marquette, MI – 12/19/2019 – One lucky winner took home the Living Room of Your Dreams grand prize tonight! Sara Mueller took home the amazing prize of a sofa, accent pillows, two lamps, end table, cocktail table, console table, easy chair, area rug, wall art, and decor with free delivery all from Rita Rossway of Interiors by Design. Kelly Hill won our other big prize which was 195 gallons of gas from Crossroads Mini-Mart and Kountry Korner Shell. Our giveaway parties are always a great time at River Rock Lanes in Ishpeming, and tonight was no exception.

Our second giveaway party as mediaBrew Communications started with a typical line out the door into the parking lot when the party began. Abbie and Amy took their usual spots getting everyone checked in as soon as possible. As the guests rolled in with their invitations, Abbie and Amy exchanged each invitation for a door prize ticket and a ticket that would enter them into winning the grand prize.

Sunny Morning Show’s Walt was emceeing the party and Dawn from Middays with Dawn on Sunny 101.9, helped call out the winning ticket numbers of the lucky attendees who received door prizes. Tonight’s door prizes were Bar Chips from local establishments Full Throttle and The Up North Lodge, a gift certificate for a small one topping pizza from Jet’s Pizza and koozie, Pomp’s Oil Change hats, and an oil change from Quality Car Care.

Everyone was a winner when it came time to eat. Mama Russo’s always provides us with the best food at our giveaway parties. Dawn released each table so they could head up to the buffet. The delicious meal included lasagna, classic cudighi bites, and various salads.

While people were enjoying their meals and contemplating seconds, Walt and Dawn read off more of the fantastic door prizes including a one hour station rental from Edge of Reality, a hardcover copy of the book The Christmas Ship, a goodie bag from The Wooden Nickel, and Teal Lake Pizza gift certificate for a 14″ Artisan Pizza.

After the last of the many door prizes were handed out, we took a minute it talk about Christmas is for Veterans. This evening we had a staggering amount of gifts donated. It was incredibly humbling to see our community members respond so well to our call for items off the annual Wishlist. Volunteer Coordinator Sarah Johnson from the DJ Jacobetti Home for Veterans spoke about what it means to their vets to be able to receive gifts like this each year and thanked everyone for donating so generously.

Finally, it was time for the grand prizes. Everyone had been waiting all night to see if they were a top finalist for the Living Room of Your Dreams prize. We called five lucky attendees to come up to the front of the room and asked each to pick an envelop with one station’s logo on it. Before announcing the last finalist ticket, we dropped our next big giveaway: The Ultima ZT1 Cub Cadet Giveaway! Bergdahl’s is providing this exciting new grand prize for next quarter. Once the next giveaway prize was announced, we read off the name of the sixth finalist for the Living Room of Your Dreams giveaway. We all counted down, and everyone at the front of the banquet hall opened their envelops to reveal what they had won. Sara Mueller was our luckiest winner of the night, taking home the Living Room of Your Dreams grand prize from Interior by Design. Kelly Hill from Negaunee was the lucky winner who took home the 195 gallons of gas from Crossroads Mini Mart and Kountry Korner Shell. Susan Ellis from Ishpeming took home a Super One Foods basket. Paula Heten from Gwinn took home the Bay Mills Snowmobile Package for two, that includes a one night stay, two breakfast buffets and $15 each in free play and $15 at Sacy’s Restaurant. Tammie Kaukola from Skandia took home the Tadych’s Econo Foods Basket filled with assorted Michigan themed gifts. Wendy Nieani from Negaunee took home Honor Trust wine themed basket.
