Tonight the Ishpeming Hematite Boys headed to Gwinn to take on the Modeltowners hoping for another victory but ended up with a tough loss 66-61.
The teams maintained a close physical game throughout the night with lead changing many times and the Hematites leading only by two points at halftime 36-34.
The second half remained to be close until the fourth quarter when the Hematites rolled
off a ten point run. The Modeltowners came storming back though with under two
minutes to go though to take the lead and keep it for the win 66-61.
Ishpeming Hematite Boys basketball continues
when they play the Munising Mustangs on Tuesday, January 22nd in Munising. Pregame will be 7:15PM and tip off will be at 7:30PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
