Winners left and right all night long at the HBAUP’s Wild Game Dinner of 2026. Beaucoup raffle tickets were pulled for all sorts of prizes last night. Anything from small single prizes & themed tables, to blitz or specialty raffles on various firearms. Helping and encouraging young folks to enter the trades with all of the funds is undoubtedly the best part of the event. Yes, winning a new rifle or purse with a holster sure is grand, but the affect on the future of the building trades in the U.P. will be immeasurably greater!
Wow! What a turnout there was last night at the Northern Center in Marquette, MI. The room was packed out, sponsor tables were sold out, and the wild game cuisine was a serious highlight. The evening started with everyone running about dropping tickets in buckets to win the raffles. Around 6pm Sarah Foster of HBAUP got things started introducing the president of the HBA of Michigan, Jeff Grantham. The HBAM president shared some kind and encouraging words leading us into the beginning of the first raffles.
Dinner around 6:30pm had a little something special; Braised Duck, Elk Tomahawks, and Salmon. The meal was very impressive.
Our thanks goes out to the chefs, volunteers, organizers, sponsors, and guests for all making such a wonderful event, with a powerful cause, such a success. Congratulations to all of the raffle and silent auction winners. We hope your wins will encourage you to spread the word about the excitement of next years HBAUP Wild Game Dinner!
