Congratulations to Our Winners From Tonight Taking Home 195 Gallons of Gas and The Perfect Yard Giveaway!

Marquette, MI – September 26, 2019 – Back at River Rock Lanes again for another giveaway party, we were joined by about 200 people to say goodbye to summer and find some winners! This time Four Seasons Small Engines of Escanaba partnered with us to give away a 9-pack of outdoor power tools including a brand new Toro push mower, Stihl chainsaw, and Stihl backpack leaf-blower! After a night of fun in Ishpeming we found our grand prize winner, Rhonda Rosewall from Ishpeming. We also choose our second winner, Angela Dishaw from Ishpeming, to receive the free 195 gallons of gas from giveaway party sponsor Crossroads Mini-Mart and Kountry Korner Shell.

As people lined up in the lobby and right out the door into the parking lot for the first official mediaBrew Communications giveaway party, Abbie and Amy were at the welcome table to usher guests in. Anyone who comes to one of our parties receives a door prize ticket for an extra chance to win.

Sunny 101.9’s Walt Lindala and 103 FXD’s Adam Carpenter were on the mic again tonight as emcees for the evening. The guys started by welcoming everyone to the banquet center and thanking some of our sponsors. Once all the guests were settled in, we broke out the the bucket and started pulling tickets for door prizes. We had hats from Quality Car Care going left and right with some of our station t-shirts making their way into the crowd as well. Adults were excited for a chance to win another free drink token set from bars from around the area.

Breaking for dinner made fresh by Mama Russo’s, Eric released people by table to grab a plate and stuff their faces! The spread included Mama Russo’s delicious layer lasagna and classic Italian cudighi bites! There was also an assortment of housemade salads.

While people enjoyed the catered meal Walt and Adam finished off the last the door prizes including growlers from Crossroads Mini Mart and Kountry Corner Shell. We also gave out some oil changes from Pomp’s Tires, certificates for a pound of coffee from Dead River Coffee, gift certificates to Teal Lake Pizzeria and more!

Finally, we got to the grand prize finalists. Walt stuck his hand in the finalist ticket bucket and draw the first finalist ticket. Each potential grand prize winner came up to the front of the room to select their station envelope, hoping they’d chose right! Walt called out the first five lucky ticket holders before we paused to announce the new big giveaway which is the Living Room of Your Dreams from renown design specialist Rita Rossway of Interiors By Design, now located on the corner of US-41 and M-28 in Harvey! The Living Room of Your Dreams grand prize includes a sofa, easy chair, end table, cocktail table, counsel table, area rug, two lamps, wall art, pillows, and decor, adding up to $7,200!

After we had announced the sixth and last finalist, everyone at the front of the banquet hall opened their envelopes at once and Rhonda Rosewall of Ishpeming pulled out the winning sheet taking home the grand prize of the Perfect Yard Giveaway. We can only have one big winner during our parties, but every finalist goes home with something! Angela Dishaw from Ishpeming won the Cross Roads Mini Mart and Kountry Korner Shell certificate for 195 gallons of gas! Laura Wilder from Ishpeming won the SuperOne gift basket. Angela Lindstrom from Gwinn took home the Econo Foods gift basket. Haley Roberts from Marquette won the One nights free stay at Landmark Inn, and Dustin Reinhardt from Marquette won the Swick gold start service certificate.
