Ishpeming, MI – March 6, 2024 – The Ishpeming girls basketball team earned a spot in the district championship game with a 75-44 win over the L’Anse Purple Hornets at home on Wednesday night. Ishpeming jumped out to a n early lead, scoring 18 points before L’Anse got on the board, and rode that momentum to a convincing win. Ishpeming now travels to Baraga on Friday to play the Vikings for the district title.
