Ishpeming, Mich. – December 14, 2023 – It’s a 2023 December To Remember! Happy holidays and Merry Christmas to all! We hosted our December To Remember Giveaway Party tonight at River Rock Lanes with folks from all over the Marquette County area in attendance. The Christmas spirit was tip-top this year in decoration and merry attitude.
After our finalists and their guests found seats, door prizes were beginning to be raffled off. Getting everyone sparked up was our friends Mark and Walt from Mark and Walt in the Morning. These guys just know how to make you laugh, and keep the room entertained. God bless Mark and Walt in the Morning!
We took a break from raffling to enjoy some delicious baked chicken, lasagna, and tortellini from Mama Russo’s. A big thank you to them for the delicious food! The chicken was superb!
There’s nothing like good food to bring people together during the holidays, either. Entree’s were finished and raffles began once again. Door prizes were all given away to excited winners, and we moved on to the big ones that everyone came for. It was time.
The whole room was electric anticipating that their ticket might hold the numbers called for the Grand Prize of the custom designed ring or pendant from Richardson Jewelers Marquette, or the 195 gallons of gas from Kwik Trip, or even the Tadych’s gift basket! Slowly the winners were called. Cheers from friends were hollered as we realized our lineup of potential grand prize winners. The best, most anticipated part is always the final 5 draws. No one yet knew if they had won the $5000 value grand prize from Richardson Jewelers Marquette. When Mark and Walt counted the 5 of our finalists down to open their envelopes, each person ripped right into theirs.

Negaunee resident, Kathy Pearce received the $195 gas gift card from Kwik Trip!
Mr. Joseph Quayle from Marquette scored the year long membership to the Marquette Children’s Museum – Big Merry Christmas to his little ones!
Last, but certainly not least, a hardy cheers to Harvey Scherer from Marquette for becoming our 2023 December To Remember grand prize winner! Harvey and his wife were ecstatic. He couldn’t even believe that he had won at first, but they were both so stoked. Afterwards, they spoke with Randy Richardson of Richardson Jewelers Marquette, where Randy himself was excited to congratulate them, and kindly gave them the rundown of how they’ll be able to claim and design their custom ring or pendant. We can’t wait to see how it turns out!
