ISHPEMING, MI – With their dominating 34-0 win at West Iron County last Friday night, the Hematies claimed their second straight district title. The weather played no factor as quarterback Alex Briones took reigns of the offense, tallying 129-yards rushing and four touchdowns in the game; 118-yards and three touchdowns came in the first half. Bobby Zhulkie added the only other touchdown the Hematites scored on the night. Once again, the Hematite defense was nothing to be trifled with, as they shut out their opponent for the sixth time this season and third time in a row. The Wycon offense never made it into the red-zone, only managing to make it to the Ishpeming 22-yard line.
