Thanks to a foul on the play, Westwood broke out to an early 3-0 lead. Madison Pruett scored first for the Hematites, putting their offense into gear. Maintaining their lead with a score of 10-5 at the midpoint of the quarter, the Patriots seemed unable to miss any jump shots that they took.
