Newberry, MI – October 17, 2025 – The Ishpeming Hematites football team was unable to overcome a strong second half performance by the Newberry Indians on Friday night, losing the game 26-6. The loss, which saw the second lightning delay in three weeks for the Hematites, drops Ishpeming’s record to 2-6 ahead of their season finale against the Pickford Panthers this Friday.
