Marquette, MI – January 7, 2025 – The Ishpeming Hematites girls basketball team returned from an extended holiday break with a good performance against Gwinn on Tuesday night, winning 59-28 in front of their home crowd. The win gives Ishpeming some valuable momentum going into their game on Friday against their rivals from the opposite shore of Teal Lake, the Negaunee Miners.
