Packers (5-5) Lose Third Straight to Giants (4-6)

The Green Bay Packers

GREEN BAY, WI – The Green Bay Packers showed again on Sunday why Aaron Rodgers is one of the top players in the NFL, and he didn’t even take the field as the Packers lost their third game in a row, and second in a row with the score of 27-13.  The Scott Tolzien led Packers were only able to muster up 13 points again, as they faced off against one of the league’s lower ranked defenses.  While Tolzien was able to move the ball effectively, turnovers and a lack of ability to punch the ball into the end zone ultimately decided the Packers fate.  Although the Packers lost their third straight, they still only remain one game back of first place behind the Detroit Lions & Chicago Bears (Both 6-4 with Detroit holding the tie-breaker over Chicago).  If the Packers can pull one out next Sunday at home against a struggling Vikings team, then perhaps Aaron Rodgers comes back from injury in time for the Thanksgiving Day showdown in Detroit, in what looks to be a HUGE game for both teams and the NFC North.

Packers will host the Vikings next Sunday at 1:00pm EST.  Be sure to tune into 98.3WRUP for all of your Green Bay Packers football action.  GO PACK GO!
