The MetLife Stadium in New Jersey was packed to watch the Green Bay Packers play the New York Giants on November 17th. During the first quarter, the Packers were unable to counter the Giants offense, ending with the Giants 7 – Packers 0. Determined to make up the gap, the Packers pursued the Giants throughout the second quarter, entering half-time with a score of 10-6 (Giants).

During the third quarter, the Giants offense prevailed again, forcing the Packers to fall behind and scoring a lead of 20-6. Within two minutes of the third quarter, in a heroic attempt to retake the game, the Packers scored a touchdown bringing the score to 20-13 (Giants). However, in a quick interception turning into a Giants touchdown, the Giants again pulled just out of reach. This was an crushing defeat for the Packers who were one step behind from the start.
