Mathews Floor Fashions and Great Lakes Radio $5,000 Karndean Flooring Giveaway – June 27th 2013

(Ishpeming, Michigan) – Thursday, June 27, 2013 – Greg Pryor of Marquette, Michigan wins The Great Lakes Radio/Mathews Floor Fashions $5,000 Karndean Flooring Giveaway at the Country Village Banquet and Conference Center. The giveaway party was a wonderful fun time for all. While the weather outside ranged from rain, to lots of rain, to a little less rain, inside it was all bright and good times as five finalists were chosen from hundreds of lucky contestants.

In addition to door prizes, BioLife Plasma Services of Marquette had “Guess The Number of LifeSavers” and gave away — to Barbara Ereckson — a $50 Certificate. And, of course, Mama Russo’s provided the Dinner to all contestants and their guests.

To pick the 5 Finalists, 5 Karndean “bingo” games were played by all the official invitees. The Karndean Bingo Cards had 5 categories of flooring, each with many different styles making up the rows. As each finalist filled in a diagonal or row or column, they yelled “Karndean” (in place of “Bingo”). It was a blast.

At about 9:00 p.m., the five finalists (Tina Jenkins, Faye Elder, Allison McCullough, Greg Pryor, and Heidi Dickinson) were called forward to each choose a remaining station packet to determine the Great Prize Winner. Greg Pryor choose the 92.7 packet and moments later learned he’d won! He was delighted and as you can see from his photos, very happy to win the $5,000 of Flooring from Mathews Floor Fashions and Great Lakes Radio.
