Marquette, MI (2/15/14) One wrong button can ruin everything. My friend Edd was trying to download a whole bunch of fonts the other day. Instead of clicking “download all,” he accidentally clicked “open all.”
Needless to say his computer instantly slowed down because it was working on displaying all one thousand typeface examples. Imagine having to click close on a thousand windows. Or trying to download them one at a time from the examples.
It just goes to show that details matter with computers. One wrong button can ruin the next couple hours. Luckily for him, all he had to do was close the entire program and reopen it to click the correct button. I bet he won’t make that mistake again.
