Marquette, MI – December 18, 2020 – The December to Remember Giveaway from Wood Jewelers of Marquette came to a close today! All week Mark Evans and Walt Lindala have been taking calls from semi-finalists all week on their morning show. The last of the semi-finalists called in this morning, and the guys ended their show by selecting and announcing the winners!
To comply with social distancing and other safety measures, we stuck with the same process as the last couple of giveaways. Instead of an in-person giveaway party at River Rock Lanes, we made it a week long event, with semi-finalists calling in live on-air.
Invitations were sent in the mail to 50 semi-finalists to call Mark & Walt on-air during a specific day this week. Those who called in were then put in the final drawing to win a prize. The guys put cards together with a random number assigned to each finalist and they randomly selected the four winners including grand prize finalist Jessica Lyle. Additional, our other finalists also received a gift for entering to make for 4 winners total. Deana Place of Deerton who entered at Super One Foods Marquette and Allison McCullough of Ishpeming who registered at Jet’s Pizza both won a Gold Star Package from Swick Home Services. Our fourth winner, Leanne Haglund of Marquette entered at Wood Jewelers and won a Econo Foods Coffee Basket!
