After a tough defeat to the Negaunee Miners earlier in the week, the Ishpeming Hematites hosted rival Westwood Patriots tonight and came out with a convincing win, 65-45.
The Hematites came out hard tonight and had a six point lead after the first quarter and continued to build on that lead to be up 32-23 by halftime. In the second half the Hematites continued to pad their lead with their scoring touch to put away the game 65-45.
Ishpeming Hematite Boys basketball continues when they play the Marquette Redmen on Tuesday, January 15th in Ishpeming. Pregame will be 7:30PM and tip off will be at 7:45PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
