The Ishpeming Hematite Boys had a tough order tonight as they dropped the game tonight when they went to Iron Mountain to take on the Mountaineer Boys 62-44.
The Mountaineers came out with a hot hand in the first half, landing seven 3-pointers in the first half to build a commanding twenty point lead 33-13. The Hematites were never able to overcome that deficit and just couldn’t find a way to chop off that lead as the Mountaineers held their ground in the second half as the Hematites lost 62-44.
Ishpeming Hematite Boys basketball continues when they play the Munising Mustangs on Wednesday, February 20th in Ishpeming. Pregame will be 7:15PM and tip off will be at 7:30PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
