The Ishpeming Hematites are simply playing good basketball up to this point. The boys were a game winning three-pointer in Negaunee away from starting off 4-0, and the girls are victorious in six straight contests since losing their season opener at Superior Central. We have a full slate of games this week and they are as follows:
Boys Basketball
Tuesday 1/14 @ Marquette Redmen Tip-off is scheduled for 7:20pm and pregame will begin around seven.
Thursday 1/16 vs. Gwinn Modeltowners Tip-off is scheduled for 7:45pm and pregame will begin around 7:30. This will be the home opener, so be sure to get out and support your Ishpeming Hematite boys as they’ll be coming off of a FIVE game road trip and could probably use a little home fan-base cheering.
Girls Basketball
Monday 1/13 vs. L’Anse Purple Hornets Tip-off is scheduled for 7:45pm and pregame will begin around 7:30pm.
Friday 1/17 @ Manistique Emeralds Tip-off is scheduled for 7:30pm and pregame will begin around seven.
