Packers(30) Fall to Bengals (34); Fall to 1-2

The Green Bay Packers

Cincinnati, OH – The Green Bay Packers failed to capitalize on many mistakes made by the Cincinnati Bengals on Sunday, while also making many mistakes of their own.  Aaron Rodgers threw an uncharacteristic two interceptions and rookie stand-out Johnathan Franklin marred an otherwise fantastic performance with a fumble that the Bengals returned for a game winning touchdown.  The score may show that the Packers gave up 34 points, but the Packers’ defense was greatly improved this week.  While they let up an early touchdown drive, the Bengals were able to gain fantastic field position on a Jeremy Ross muffed kick return, two Rodgers interceptions, and the fumble mentioned earlier.

The Packers now go into their bye week (not a moment too soon) with a disappointing 1-2 record.  While it isn’t time to hit the panic button just yet, the Packers do need to work on some things during their time off.
