Ishpeming – August 13, 2013 – The Ishpeming Sports Boosters get together and enjoy a day on the golf course to raise funds for the sports program. Dollars are always needed to make things better for the kids.
The sports program in Ishpeming has been extremely successful with the football team achieving State Champion status last year.
983 WRUP, the voice of the Ishpeming Hematities, joined in on the fun as a tournament sponsor.
Bill Tibor, Mike Plourde, Amy Racine and Todd Noordyk braved a rainy morning of golf in Ishpeming. The team did well coming in 6 under in the rain and won some small assorted prizes.
