(Marquette, Michigan) – August 16, 2013 The Texaco Country Showdown, Marquette Township Community Day, and Announcement of the Winner of the John Deere Tractor from Michigan Sales are all happening Saturday, August 17th at the Marquette Township’s Lion’s Club Lions Field tomorrow.
Remember, you can get an entry to win the Tractor JUST BY Coming to the Lions Field during the Country Showdown, filling out an entry slip. You can get a second entry if you sing!
The Marquette Township firemen will have a barbeque. There will be a Beer tent from 11am till 10pm. Music and softball all day, beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Michigan Sales John Deere will announce the winner of a John Deere mower worth $2,000. Everyone whom attend the Texaco Country Showdown from 2 till 5 can be registered to win the tractor.
The local township band will perform from 7p till 10p.
