5/7/2013 National Mine, Michigan — Beautiful Tuesday Spring afternoon for Ishpeming Fast Pitch Softball on 98.3 WRUP with Mike Plourde! Mike Plourde was LIVE from the National Mine field in National Mine from the first pitch to the very last on this Tuesday afternoon.
At the bottom of the second, the Ishpeming Hematites lead the Westwood Patriots 2-0. Then, at the bottom of the second the Patriots pushed across a run and the Ishpeming Hematites lead the Westwood Patriots 2-1. At the end of the inning, the Westwood Patriots trail the Ishpeming Hematites 2-1.
At the top of the 4th, the Ishpeming Hematites lead the Westwood Patriots 3-1. The Hematites had a very big lead in the top of the 4th quarter.
With the weather not cooperating too well in April, many of the Ishpeming Fast Pitch Softball Games had to be postponed. The Hematites lead 10-1 at the top of the 4th inning over the Westwood Patriots.
Westwood batting in the bottom of the 4th, they scored a run. Ishpeming scored 13 runs in the bottom of the 4th inning. The Ishpeming Hematites lead the Westwood Patriots 16-2.
The Westwood Patriots are up in the bottom of the 5th. It is 16-2 with the Ishpeming Hematites in the lead. The Ishpeming Hematites could win by default with this game.
This is Ishpeming’s second win of the season. The Ishpeming Hematites defeat the Westwood Patriots 16-2.
