The Ishpeming Hematite Boys tonight had the Norway Knights come to town and after an even first half, the Hematites were able to turn it on and pull away for a victory 47-29.
At the end of the first half the Hematites were only leading by two points 18-16. The second half was a much different story though as the Hematites outscored the Knights in the third quarter 20-7 and held the Knights to only thirteen points in the second half. It was the second straight game with strong second halves to push for the win.
Ishpeming Hematite Boys basketball continues when they play the Negaunee Miners on Wednesday, January 9th in Ishpeming. Pregame will be 7:30PM and tip off will be at 7:45PM right here on WRUP 98.3FM.
