The Negaunee Miners Defeat and finish the season of our Ishpeming Hematites

Sunny Friday night in Westwood as our Ishpeming Hematites are defeated by the Negaunee Miners.

Mike Plourde and Bob Nadeau brought you the exciting High School Boys Basketball Play by Play from the Westwood High School.

At the end of the first quarter the Negaunee Miners lead 16-5.  At the half the Miners also lead, the Hematites trailed by 9,  score 23-14, Miners.  The Miner Boys lead yet another quarter, finishing the third quarter 38-27.  Our Hematite Boys fought and played a great game along with an incredible season, however it wasn’t quite enough as the Miners came out victorious.
