Ishpeming, MI – February 20, 2024 – The Ishpeming Hematites honored their seniors on Tuesday night in advance of their 69-38 win over Manistique in an unusual way: they started all seven. Ishpeming head coach Ryan Reichel had struggled to narrow the list to five starters, so he decided to start every senior, take the technical foul for too many players on the court, and go from there. Manistique made both free throws, and for a while looked like they might surprise the Hematites, but Ishpeming was able to come back and earn a win which puts them at 18-1 on the season.
