Marquette, MI – October 2, 2020 – Today brought the end of the Kickstart Your Fall Giveaway. All week Mark Evans and Walt Lindala have been registering semi-finalists on their morning show. With the last of the semi-finalists registering this morning, the guys closed their show by announcing our winners!
With everyone’s healthy and safety in mind, we kept with the same process as the last giveaway. Instead of our usual giveaway party at River Rock Lanes, we made it a week long event, choosing winners live on-air.
50 semi-finalists were sent invitations through the mail the call in to Mark & Walt on-air during a specific day this week. Those who called in were then put into the running to win one of the prizes. Mark put cards together with a number assigned to each person and Walt randomly selected five winners.
We had five prizes to give away, but only one could win the Kawasaki KLR650 dual-sport motorcycle from Dr. Doug’s! Josh Argall from Ishpeming will be the
lucky winner to come pick up the keys to the 2007 motorcycle. Cade Tank of Marquette won a basket from Tadych’s Econofoods, and Deana Ventre of Ironwood, Anna Schweitzer and Pamela Harry or Marquette each won a Gold Star Services Package from Swick Home Services.
