Marquette, MI – August 15, 2017 – The 906 State Fair is under way at the U.P. State Fairgrounds in Escanaba. The Great Lakes Radio crew is taking turns hanging out at the fair to be there all week long with the WRUP Van.
When you visit us at the fair you can sign up two win two awesome prizes. First we have four pairs of tickets to a preseason Green Bay Packers game! Fill out a slip and drop it in the box for a chance to win a set of tickets to see the Packers face off against the Los Angeles Rams at Lambeau Field August 31, 2017.
You can also sign up for our major giveaway, The $7,000 Storage Building of Your Dreams. We have teamed up with Premium Pole Buildings and Storage Sheds to give away a 12′ x 16′ or 10′ x 20′ Gambrel or Gable shed. The shed built right on the winners property will include a garage door and service door for easy access, LP Smart Siding, 30-year shingles and a full building overhang. When you register this weekend at the fair, you be put in the running to win this $7,000 grand prize at the end of September!
Some highlights from the fair schedule include: LOCASH preforming at 8:00pm Thursday in the Grandstand, a quilt raffle, recipe contest, and giveaways on Friday, the Antique Car Show in the Activities Tent on Saturday, and Fireworks at dusk on Sunday!
