Neil Young & Crazy Horse Bass Player Billy Talbot Suffers Mild Stroke

Billy Talbot, far right/Image credit: Julie GardnerBilly Talbot, bass player for Neil Young & Crazy Horse, has suffered a mild stroke and will sit out the band’s upcoming European tour.
Talbot will be replaced on the European tour dates by Rick Rosas, who has played with Young on and off throughout the years, including in both Buffalo Springfield and Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. Talbot, who’s 70, is expected to make a full recovery.
The Neil Young & Crazy Horse European tour dates get underway July 7 in Iceland, and run through August 8, wrapping up in France.
