According to a message posted Monday on Genesis’ official Facebook page, singer Peter Gabriel, drummer/singer Phil Collins, keyboardist Tony Banks, bassist Mike Rutherford and guitarist Steve Hackett have gotten together to take part in a feature-length TV documentary for the BBC called Genesis: Together and Apart.

Apple Corps Ltd.NBC is developing an eight-episode event series about The Beatles from the team that brought The Tudors to Showtime.
The network is still in the early stages of crafting the series about John Lennon, Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr that would tell the story of the Fab Four from Liverpool, reports Deadline.com.
The series is set to be penned by The Tudors creator and executive producer Michael Hirst, who will executive produce the Beatles project. No word yet on when it might air.

Photo: Martyn AtkinsElectric Light Orchestra mastermind Jeff Lynne will be resurrecting his old band for a special performance at the 2014 edition of BBC Radio 2’s Live in Hyde Park festival, which takes place on September 14 in London. The group’s set will mark ELO’s first festival performance in 28 years.
