According to Billboard, the revamped editions of the British rock legends’ 1969 self-titled debut and two follow-up releases, 1969’s Led Zeppelin II and 1970’s Led Zeppelin III, bowed at #7, #9 and #10 on the tally after selling 37,000, 34,000 and 32,000 copies, respectively, during their initial week of release.

Rumors have been flying that KISS will be playing a residency in Las Vegas this fall. Various signs have begun popping up around Sin City with photos of the band and the words “Coming Fall 2014.” When asked by ABC News Radio directly if he could confirm the residency, Paul Stanley sidestepped the question by answering, “I’ve seen the same posters you have, and I guess we’ll both find out what this is about as time goes on. Time tells all, I guess.”

Universal MusicEric Clapton is treating fans to a preview of The Breeze, his upcoming star-studded tribute album honoring late singer/songwriter JJ Cale, by releasing a lyric video to the record’s first single, “Call Me the Breeze.” The animated clip shows a vintage pickup truck traveling down a highway through a variety of American landscapes, while the lyrics periodically appear on the pavement as the vehicle drives along.

In an interview with SPIN, Ferrell says that the pair are throwing down the gauntlet to “a third person that looks eerily similar to Chad and I. A third drummer out there.” Smith then drops Lars Ulrich‘s name.
Ferrell tells SPIN, “Lars gets pissed because he gets mistaken for both me and Chad Smith. He can settle that score now, too.”
