Reprise RecordsNeil Young‘s latest album, A Letter Home, won’t be released on CD and digitally until this Tuesday, but fans can get a full preview of the acoustic collection online now. Amazon is streaming the 11-song recording in its entirety through this Monday, May 26.

A Letter Home features Young’s interpretations of tunes by various singer-songwriters who have inspired and influenced him, including Bob Dylan, Bruce Springsteen, Willie Nelson, Gordon Lightfoot, Tim Hardin, Phil Ochs and Bert Jansch. Michael Loccisano/Getty ImagesGregg Allman and the producers and director of the Allman biopic, Midnight Rider, have been sued by the family of Sarah Jones, the camera assistant who died on the set of the film in February when she was struck by a train.

The lawsuit, which seeks unspecified damages, claims the defendants negligently caused the 27-year-old woman’s death, according to the Los Angeles Times.

The lawsuit argues that producers did not have permission to film on the railway and did not take the proper safety precautions.

Universal Music Group DistributionPearl Jam will hit the road in the U.S. this fall. The band — whose singer Eddie Vedder is the father of two daughters, ages 5 and 9 — has announced ten dates set to kick off once school is back in session, beginning October 1 and stretching through October 22. The dates were planned around the two-weekend Austin City Limits festival, which Pearl Jam is set to headline both weekends.

Chris Walter/WireImageBassist Mark Andes and drummer Dennis Carmassi, who played in Heart from 1982 until 1993, are suing the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame because their likenesses were used in promoting the 2013 induction ceremony even though the two musicians were not inducted along with the band.

Billboard reports that the recently filed suit charges the Rock Hall with “invasion of privacy,” “injurious falsehood,” “libel” and “slander” over its “wilful and unauthorized use of Plaintiffs’ images and likenesses.”
