Metallica’s “Hardwired” tour could stretch into 2020, says Lars Ulrich

ABC/Randy HolmesMetallica has been touring in support of its 2016 album Hardwired…to Self-Destruct for nearly two years now, and the metal legends don’t plan on slowing down anytime soon. According to drummer Lars Ulrich, the Hardwired trek may last all the way into the next decade.

“This may just dip into the beginning of 2020,” Ulrich tells The Mercury News.

Ulrich credits the longevity of the tour to the positive reception of Hardwired.
