The Year in Music 2017: The End of The End, and of the band, for Black Sabbath

Credit: Ross HalfinBlack Sabbath brought its nearly 50-year career to an end with a sold-out concert in their hometown of Birmingham, U.K., on February 4. The show closed out the heavy-metal legends’ farewell trek, The End Tour, which began in the U.S. in January 2016 and featured 81 dates across the world, including Australia, Europe and North and South America.
