Ex-Beatles drummer Pete Best to portray himself in Liverpool play about John Lennon’s first instrument

Best will appear in a new stage play called Lennon’s Banjo that will premiere this spring at the Epstein Theatre in Liverpool, U.K. Best will appear in three of the performances during the production’s 15-show run, scheduled from April 24 to May 5, 2018.
