ZZ Top Bassist Has Fractured Shoulder; Band Postpones Tour Through Early May

Credit: Ross HalfinNew details have been revealed about the shoulder injury ZZ Top bassist Dusty Hill suffered prior to the band’s concert last Thursday in Lubbock, Texas. It turns out that Hill fractured his shoulder, and the Texas trio has now postponed all of its shows through a planned May 7 performance in Atlanta.

In a statement, ZZ Top manager Carl Stubner reports that Hill’s injury occurred when he tripped while preparing to go on stage at the Lone Star Events Center in Lubbock.
