Bernard Purdie, Drummer for Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin and Others, Seeks Crowd-Sourcing Support for His New Book

Richard Ecclestone/RedfernsRenowned session drummer Bernard Purdie, who has recorded with Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Steely Dan, Aretha Franklin, Cat Stevens and Hall & Oates, among other artists, is seeking a band of supporters to fund costs of publishing his upcoming autobiography titled Let the Drums Speak!

Purdie is offering a range of incentives to patrons, and those items include autographed copies of the hardcover book, which he plans to release in October.
