The Green Bay Packers Fall to the Detroit Lions this Thanksgiving on Marquette’s WRUP 98.3

The Green Bay Packers

The Green Bay Packers battled the Detroit Lions on Thanksgiving at Ford Field. Detroit dominated the field leaving the Packers dazed with a score of 40-10 (Detroit).

The ball was tossed back and forth throughout the first quarter with no score. Then, a fast paced second quarter placed the Packers in the lead! Refusing to be left behind, the Lions took control of the field bringing the score to 17-10 by halftime.

The Packers struggled with Detroit’s offense. Their success in the first half was due to Detroit turnovers. As the third quarter progressed, Green Bay’s position became increasingly dire. Unable to keep the ball, the Packers lost several more touchdowns and Detroit’s score rose to 40 by the end of the game.

This match was a prime example of how Green Bay’s game has been affected by loosing their starting quarterback. Can they recover? Tune in to 98.3 WRUP on December 8th to find out! Go Pack Go!
